Bad Weather In Pinellas County Florida

March 30-31 2011 we have been hit with alot of storms that we normally don't get until the summer rainy season. We have been hit with heavy rains up to 13" per hour. Luckily the storms more quickly so they are not in one place for an hour. Never the less, areas of central Florida have recieved over 8".

In addition to the heavy rains there has been quite a bit of lightning. Some hours around 800 lightning strikes. A friend of mine took a direct hit to his house and lost a lot of computer equipment do to the strike.

Also there has been high winds and tornadoes just a couple miles from us in Pinellas Park. Some of our friends were in the path, but luckily none were hurt,
